Just A Heads Up

Yesterday I invited my friend over and we enjoyed our conversation sitting in the lawn with a 98 degree temperature. As we chat, she told me about her pregnancy. She found out a week ago that she’s having a baby. She told me she wasn’t prepared for it. But it is there!

So as part our friendship I told her everything that can make her excited and encourage continuing her pregnancy. In between pain and tears during pregnancy, happiness and joy will be the value. Pregnancy might not be very comfortable for some woman but that’s the best seal that signifies our womanhood and wholeness. I shared about my feelings during pregnancy. For being scared and uncomfortable is just natural. And the sudden mood swing is a part of pregnancy. In the first place pregnancy could be intimidating but once you see the face of your lovely baby, all pain and tears will disappear.

And after the conversation, I felt good that I helped her out from being terrified. And I knew at least I gave her some heads up!

Former President Corazon Aquino died at 76

In behalf of Filipinos around the world, I would like to extend my hearty condolence to the entire family of our national treasure, the former President Corazon Aquino, has passed away last Saturday and peacefully settled with God. As we all knew she was diagnosed with advanced colon cancer and confined to Manila Medical Center last month. Many people heartily offered prayers for her well but after her struggles, God finally taken her back to his side.

She might be gone in our sight but the heroic memory and her goodwill will always stay and remain alive in our heart and mind! Her best leadership is the trademark of a true Pilipino President.

Pet Peeve

Every individual has pet peeve in different places and indeed we can’t blame them if they do. Just like my husband, he hates seeing hairs in the floor or in the bathroom. He always complains about it. And when I asked him why, he said that the hair is the grossest part of our body. And he argued that he saw it on through microscope that there were tiny worms crawling in it. And maybe that’s why he always keeps his hair really short and make sure it never touches his face. It sounded really bizarre but it is definitely his “pet peeve”.
